The purpose of this organization is to establish awareness of goods and services utilizing principles based within Cooperative Economics that the members of our great organization possess.
It is incumbent on us to understand the origin and necessity why people of color had to create their own organizations and institutions. We had to develop ways to address “our” economic needs and aspirations, but that also fostered values of community, service, and mutual support.
This exchange will also foster dialogue and introductions that has not occurred previously on a formal scale.
THE PHBE will hold educational seminars on those in business and/or looking to start a business, tax planning, retirement planning, growth strategies and leadership skill as examples.
It is our vision that this organization will continually address the needs of our members, community and serve as a vehicle for not only economic but social change as to how good and services are looked upon by our members.
